Tripod Barrier

A tripod barrier is a type of physical barrier used to block or restrict access to a certain area or location. It typically consists of three legs or supports, hence the name “tripod,” that are connected at the top to form a stable base. The legs can be made of metal, plastic, or another durable material, and the barrier itself can be used to block a roadway, a pedestrian walkway, or any other area that needs to be restricted or controlled. Tripod barriers are often used in traffic control, crowd control, and security applications.
Overview

Tripod turnstiles are compact and cost-effective entrance solutions. Designing for smooth and silent operation, reducing power consumption, and wear and tear. It is suitable for areas with high traffic.

The TS2200 series offer a well-designed, two-legged casework made of stainless steel, ideal for sites where high traffic and robustness are issued. The TS2200 series have two passage channels in one casework, which is cost-effective for the application.

Receiving a signal from the access control system, or pushing a button, allows the entry of one person at a time. The status is shown on the led-way mode indicators at the top. Entering into different directions is electronically controlled. The default mode is to lock the mechanism until a valid authorization signal is received. If you want to set one side free, you can adjust the mechanism. In case of emergency, the horizontal arm will drop to allow free passage. Led way mode indicators are included as standard.
