Guard Monitoring
Customer Pains: Loss will be reduced to the minimum if we could find out the problem early.
Pain Relievers: Guard tour system makes for reliable guards and improves the safety status all around.
Customer Gains: Makes the security guard’s work seamless.
Gain Creators: It reduces the amount of manual supervision required by using automated monitoring, workflows, and alerts.
Guard Tour Systems, Guard Patrol Systems, and Guard Monitoring Systems: Keeping Your Property Safe
When it comes to protecting your property, having a reliable security system in place is crucial. One way to ensure that your property is being properly monitored is through the use of a guard tour system, guard patrol system, or guard monitoring system. In this article, we'll explore what these systems are, how they work, and the benefits they offer.
A guard tour system is a device that is worn by security guards as they patrol a property. The device typically includes a GPS receiver, a barcode scanner, and a digital clock. The guard scans barcodes that are placed at specific locations on the property, such as doors and windows, and the device records the time and location of each scan. This information is then used to generate reports that show where the guard has been and how long they spent at each location.
A guard patrol system is similar to a guard tour system, but it also includes a routing feature that allows the guard to follow a predetermined path. This system can also include sensors that detect movement and alert the guard if there is any suspicious activity.
A guard monitoring system is a remote monitoring system that allows security personnel to track the movements of guards in real-time. This system typically includes a combination of cameras, sensors, and alarms that are placed throughout the property. The security personnel can monitor the guards' movements and receive alerts if there is any suspicious activity.
All these systems offer many benefits, including:
Increased security: By monitoring the movements of guards, these systems can help identify potential security breaches before they occur.
Improved efficiency: These systems can help security personnel identify areas of the property that are not being properly patrolled, so they can make adjustments as needed.
Reduced costs: By improving the efficiency of security patrols, these systems can help reduce the number of guards needed to patrol a property.
Detailed reporting: With the data collected from these systems, security personnel can generate detailed reports that show where guards have been and how long they spent at each location.
Real-time monitoring: With the guard monitoring system, security personnel can track the movements of guards in real-time and receive alerts if there is any suspicious activity.
In conclusion, guard tour systems, guard patrol systems, and guard monitoring systems are all effective tools for protecting your property. They can help increase security, improve efficiency, reduce costs, and provide detailed reporting. With these systems in place, you can rest assured that your property is being properly monitored and protected.
Makes the Security guard's work seamless - Guard Monitoring System
A Guard Tour Monitoring System is a combination of computer software and/or hardware that allows Security Guards and other users to track and report the areas they’ve been in (called ‘Checkpoints’ during a “round/patrol/tour” and the time(s) they’ve visited each area. This is done for a number of reasons:
- Accountability/Evaluation of Job Performance- Management Staff/Supervisors will often create Tour Schedules (groups of checkpoints they expect users to check/inspect) and set expectations for all areas within these Tours to be visited. Users are then evaluated/graded on how thorough and time efficient they are, and spoken to if certain areas in a patrol are missed consistently. This helps prevent “Laziness”, and makes sure a property/job site is properly attended.
- Proof Of Presence to Clients/Upper Management/litigation- Management Staff/Supervisors will often keep detailed reports of the dates/times location(s) are checked to show as irrefutable proof that Security staff is doing their job properly- which they can send to their clients. In certain cases involving security incidents, they will send copies of these reports to insurance companies when filing claims for theft/vandalism, etc.
In modern-day society, Guard Tour Monitoring software is available for most computer Operating Systems and can consist of everything from basic steel/plastic dedicated devices, to Android/iOS smartphones running specialized software. The software itself may contain other features, such as GPS location tracking, alarms/alerts for critical conditions, and areas to report security incidents encountered.
