Home Automation Systems – eGlu is a platform that enables Smart Living and provides benefits like security, convenience, and energy savings to homeowners. The platform includes hardware devices that connect wirelessly to the Internet and can be monitored and controlled by a mobile application from anywhere. eGlu HUB connects to your home Wi-Fi router and becomes a communication gateway between your phone and all the connected devices at home. The hardware devices include Smart Plugs, Motion Sensor, Door Sensors, and Panic Alarms which are part of our Do-It-Yourself solution. They are extremely simple to set up and are truly wireless. They either plug directly into an AC power socket or run on batteries. The eGlu platform is not just limited to plug-and-play devices. In-wall Switch Modules can be installed behind the switch plates to automate existing lights and fans at home. The platform also lets you integrate IP cameras, allowing you to monitor your home from anywhere.
eGlu APP with built-in intelligence enables you to take specific actions at a given time or when a sensor detects an event in your home. This can be achieved by creating simple ‘Rules’ in your APP. You can also create a shortcut or ‘Scene’ in the APP to take multiple actions by clicking a single button. eGlu platform is affordable, reliable, retrofit, future-ready, and totally secure. It lets you smarten your home in your own personal way.
We have launched eGlu Smart Home Products and they are available for purchase. You can buy pre-configured DIY kits or buy individual units and install them based on your requirements. Some products such as eGlu In Wall Switch require professional installation, we will provide free installation services for these products.
Home Automation Systems
eGlu HUB is the communication gateway that can be directly plugged into a wall socket, It connects to the Internet via the home’s WiFi router. HUB is extremely simple to set up and the whole process takes less than 5 minutes.
eGlu TAG is a multifunctional device with audio and visual indications. It can be used to find misplaced things like keys and remotes at home. It can also be used as a door sensor. Just attach it to a door or window which needs to be monitored. It can also be configured to detect the presence and absence of family members and pets. TAG runs for more than a year on a replaceable coin cell.
eGlu Motion Sensor detects motion up to a distance of 30 feet. It is useful for the detection of both intrusions as well as occupancy. Motion Sensor works on two AA batteries for more than a year.
eGlu Panic Alarm produces high decibel sound when activated. It can be turned on based on various events like the detection of intrusion, the opening of a door, or the pressing of the panic button on the TAG.
eGlu Smart Plugs convert existing wall sockets into remote-controlled switches. A button on the Smart Plugs allows local control. Smart Plugs are available with ratings of 6A and 16A. 6A Smart Plug comes with a universal socket and can control appliances that consume less than 1.5 kW of power. 16A Smart Plug can be used to control high-power appliances like geysers and ACs.
eGlu In-wall Switch Module allows automation of lights, fans, and power sockets which are currently being controlled by the wall switches. In-wall Switch Module is installed behind the existing switch plate and works in parallel with the mechanical switch. Each In-wall Switch module can control three independent switch points. One of the switch points can be a dimmer or fan regulator.
